Jaama is saddened to announce the sudden death of John Machin at the age of just 31.
 
John died on April 18 and would have been 32 on Sunday (May 7). His funeral will take place on Friday, May 12 at 10:30am at Fradley Crematorium (Lichfield and District Crematorium), Lichfield, WS13 8GA.
 
Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: “John was a great friend, great employee and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet. He had been an integral part of the Jaama family since September 2009 and he will be greatly missed by us all on a personal and professional level.”
 
 
John leaves a widow, Fiona – his wife of 12 years – and two young children.
 
Mr Evans said: “Our sincerest condolences and love are with John’s wife and children and all of his family and friends at this sad time.”
 
John started his career at Jaama, the market-leading fleet, leasing, hire and driver management software provider, as a support analyst, but most recently worked as a business analyst.
 
He joined Jaama from holding a position as network support analyst at AT&T. A former rugby union player, John represented Warwickshire and the England Development squad and had trials with top Aviva Premiership outfit Leicester Tigers before being forced to retire through injury.
