West Midlands Fire Service onboards Jaama’s Key2 system to manage its vehicles, equipment and fleet operations all in one place

Jaama’s Key2 asset management software has fast become the software platform of choice for the Police, Fire and Ambulance services due its ability to manage specialist cars, LCVs and trucks, equipment, and workshops all on one system.

And with free six-monthly software updates to ensure each of its customers is working on the very latest version of Key2, it enables publicly funded fleets to manage their vehicle and maintenance budgets more effectively.

South Central Ambulance, Merseyside Police and Lancashire Police are already Key2 customers and multiple police forces are currently looking to onboard the Jaama software platform.

To celebrate its strong relationships with blue light fleets, Jaama is showcasing its Key2 asset management software at the Emergency Services Show on 18-19 September at the NEC in Birmingham.

For every visitor to the stand across the two days Jaama plans to donate funds to the Blue Light Card Foundation who support the health and wellbeing of the Blue Light community.

After a rigorous tender process, Jaama has also become a long-term partner of West Midlands Fire Service who will be using Jaama’s Key2 system to manage its vehicles, equipment and fleet operations all in one place.

The service commented: “There are many challenges in the blue light sector in relation to fleet management. With a fleet of over 200 vehicles, West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) has always been driven to provide a safe, fit for purpose and cost-efficient and blended vehicle fleet with low downtime to deliver its vison of making ‘the West Midlands safer, healthier and stronger.’

“Using Jaama to consolidate our fleet management functions will help us to ensure continued compliance and high-level end user service with improved operating efficiencies. Key2 will deliver a paperless system for Workshop and Defect Management and improve full visibility of all our fleet related operations,” WMFS added.

Richard Evans, Jaama’s sales director said: “Prudently managing budgets is a priority of emergency services like the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service whilst retaining high levels of safety and compliance which is where Key2 comes into its own. We look forward to continuing to work closely with WMFS and the wider industry in general to help manage their precious assets more efficiently.”
