Jaama is the UK’s number one fleet and asset management software company and as the business celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2014, further expansion is inevitable in line with its continued level of customer acquisition.
Currently employing in excess of 40 people, Jaama is anticipating at least a 10% increase in its workforce next year as it underpins the business to deliver further customer service improvements and product enhancements.
Advancements in functionality of the core web-based Key2 software system has ensured an excellent customer retention record; however the company is not resting on its laurels and continues to invest more than £1 million annually to ensure delivery of cutting-edge asset and driver management solutions to businesses.
With the continual advancement in technology, functionality and customer service, Jaama is continuing to attract public, private and voluntary sector fleets and the contract hire and leasing sector and has further expanded its customer portfolio by 18% in 2013.
Managing director Martin Evans said: “The growth of Jaama has been on a completely different scale to the business plan we had originally envisaged. Our continued hard work and commitment to supply class-leading products and services has resulted in a fantastic first decade providing fleet and asset management solutions to a wide range of organisations, including many blue chip companies.
“Growth has been fuelled by a combination of the capability of our software, a dynamic approach and the service we provide to customers. We continue to win a significant amount of new business as a result of referrals from existing clients.”
Mr Evans continued: “Jaama’s long-term commitment to the industry and our appetite for further expansion remains as strong as ever.
Now more than ever, fleets need cutting-edge software systems to drive improvements and efficiencies across the operation as well as ensuring legislative compliance, managing risk and strategically managing their portfolio of company car, grey fleet and salary sacrifice vehicles.
“Fleet operators must address how they collate, measure and manage that information and the answer is to use leading edge technology. This enables management reports to be compiled and critical data to be presented to their executive boards in a format that is straight-forward and easily understood.”
During 2014 Jaama will reveal more exciting new software initiatives including a recently developed, comprehensive driver risk profiling tool, designed to give a much more accurate picture of a driver, their behaviour and their overall driving risk to the business.
Jaama’s new initiatives are designed to deliver significant benefit and the company’s single Key2 platform enables all customers to enjoy constantly evolving software improvements.
Mr Evans said: “Our single platform approach means that Key2 users operate at the forefront of fleet management best practice rather than getting left behind with software that has a limited shelf life. It also ensures fantastic customer retention as our policy of continuous software evolvement means our technology never becomes outdated.”
Jaama’s ever-increasing customer base has led to the company recently strengthening its customer service team with the appointment of Bob Leighfield as customer services manager. He will be making three further additions to the team early in 2014 as customer service remains high on the company’s agenda.
Additionally a new key account manager will be starting in January to further enhance customer relationships and ensure customers are realising the full potential and power of their systems.
Mr Evans concluded: “We enjoy fantastic relationships with our users as demonstrated by our superb customer retention record and the number of clients that refer Jaama to other fleet decision-makers. In addition to delivering a first class technology platform, Jaama recognises the need to continually improve customer service levels to stay ahead of the game in the decades to come.”
