Fast-growing fleet software company Jaama has cemented its strategy for further expansion with the promotion of Martin Evans to managing director replacing Jason Francis, who moves to the newly created position of chief executive.

Mr Evans, who has a 25-year fleet industry career behind him and joined Jaama, Britain’s most recommended fleet management software provider, in 2005, takes over responsibility for day-to-day business management and growth.
Meanwhile, Mr Francis, who founded Jaama in 2004, takes on a more strategic approach to business expansion and long-term development of the company as chief executive.

Mr Evans, who spent eight years with fuel card provider and fleet management company owner the Harpur Group and then Car Fleet Control prior to joining Jaama, said: “Growth has been fuelled by a combination of the capability and ongoing evolution of our software system allied to the service and support we provide to customers.”

Jaama’s expansion has also been fuelled by customer references making the company the most recommended software solution provider in the UK and the winner of many major awards. Jaama’s Key2 technology is at the core of its software solutions for fleet operators and rental and leasing companies.

Now employing more than 40 people, Jaama’s major customers include: British Transport Police, BCA, Days Contract Hire, DHL Express, DHL International, Enterprise, Fleet Hire, Hertfordshire County Council, Interserve, JCT 600 Contracts, Kier Construction, Luton Borough Council, Manheim, MITIE, Ogilvie Fleet, Prohire, Run Your Fleet, Sheffield Insulation Group, Serco and Supreme Group.
