DOUBLE TOP FOR JAAMA AS SOFTWARE SCOOPS ‘TECHIE’ AWARDS
Leading fleet, leasing and rental management software supplier Jaama is celebrating a double triumph in the 2012 BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards - known as the ‘Techies’.
Jaama won the awards for the Best Contract Hire and Leasing System and Best Risk Management System. The industry publication’s awards, which are in their fourth year, recognise suppliers whose stand out use of technology makes fleet operations ‘cheaper, cleaner, safer and less time consuming’.
At the heart of Jaama’s technology offering is its Key2 system and Paul Barker, editor of BusinessCar, said: “The judging panel was impressed with Key2, and the breadth, simplicity and usefulness of its offering.”
He added: “Jaama’s double victory in the BusinessCar Fleet Technology Awards shows the company’s commitment to being at the forefront of technological developments to help business car fleets manage their vehicles.”
This year’s double triumph for Jaama in the ‘Techies’ follows last year’s win in the Best Fleet Management System category.
The Key2 system, which is at the heart of Jaama’s product portfolio, delivers a totally holistic occupational road risk management approach that enables fleet decision-makers to effectively manage their drivers and vehicles including ‘grey fleet’ in one place.
Meanwhile, contract hire and leasing companies need to utilise IT to both drive internal business efficiencies and also provide a range of flexible one-stop shop solutions for fleet decision-makers and company car drivers.
The only financially viable option for small and medium-sized leasing companies to compete with the big player’s ‘in-house’ customer facing systems is to implement flexible Key2 Contract Hire and Leasing software.
It is for that reason Jaama has developed a ‘Customer Dashboard’ that enables clients of contract hire and leasing companies to gain direct access to a comprehensive overview of their operating and tax costs alongside a range of informative features that will enable them to analyse their fleet through a comprehensive set of reports.
System users, including Ogilvie Fleet and Fleet Hire, are utilising the technology to drive forward business growth.
Martin Evans, Jaama’s sales and operations director, said: “Contract hire and leasing companies are benefiting from our business solutions as they meet their ongoing needs and expectations and enable them to offer an industry-leading service in an increasingly technology driven age.”
Commenting on Jaama’s risk management technology Mr Evans said: “Fleet managers need to manage the legal compliance of vehicles and drivers as well as their employer’s duty of care obligations.
“Key2 manages a wide range of driver, vehicle and journey data offering a consolidated audit trail, while also having the ability to alert fleet managers to exceptional issues that require their immediate attention.”
