Jaama’s industry-leading Key2 Rental Management software enjoyed a lot of interest from plant and tool hire businesses at this year’s Executive Hire Show.
The company exhibited for the third consecutive year at the Show, held last month at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Throughout the two-day event, Jaama demonstrated the capability of its functionally rich Key2 Rental Management software which provides plant and tool hire operators with the right tools to successfully manage their business.
Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: “With constantly squeezed margins, an increasing number of plant and tool hire companies are realising that good software can bring real benefits.
“Key2 has many attributes that we demonstrated to stand visitors including the ability to identify the cost versus income for each item of plant equipment which can then be reported in a league table to ensure hire companies only buy plant that has good profit margin opportunities.
Built for the Microsoft.NET framework and using Smart Client technology, Key2 Rental Management is an intuitive, easy to navigate, simple to use yet functionally-packed web-based business tool.
The Key2 business solution stores, actively manages and monitors all aspects of running a typical plant hire company.
The functionally rich system enables reports to be produced, scheduled and distributed which enables operators to manage by exception and make strategic business decisions. The system also seamlessly integrates with other internal and external business software systems.
The ‘Key2 Today’ screen provides users with a fully configurable and graphical overview of their organisation’s rental operation that can be interrogated. Current status information relating to any aspect of the rental operation can be viewed instantaneously such as assets due to be replaced, equipment inspections due, compliance statistics etc.
When a user logs into the system, business ‘key performance indicators’ will be displayed. Users can then see at a glance critical information required to make daily business decisions thereby saving valuable time and resources trawling through pages of information and statistics.
Visitors to Jaama’s Executive Hire Show stand were invited to “drop” their business cards into a bowl with the company donating money to the charity Help for Heroes for each one collected.
