Head of Inside Sales

Due to an exciting phase of phenomenal product and market growth, Jaama is eager to recruit a talented and experienced Head of Inside Sales into its well-funded, B2B fleet technology company.
Following the acquisition of Jaama by new investors, there is a need to inject fresh impetus and enthusiasm in the Sales effort. Therefore, a newly formed Inside Sales team will form part of ambitious growth plans, to infiltrate new markets and seek out opportunities in sectors where Jaama is recognised as an established market leader. The Inside Sales team will take on the responsibility for enquiry management, lead generation and securing qualified appointments for the Sales Team, whilst also achieving an ambitious Revenue Target to sell Jaama’s SaaS based platform products.
Working closely with the Marketing Team on campaign management and brand awareness, it is the Inside Sales Team’s responsibility to ensure that all inbound enquiries are qualified, whilst making a significant number of outbound sales calls to companies potentially interested in our products. Jaama are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative or established SDR Leader, looking for an exciting new project to build out their own team and deliver exceptional results.
Head of Inside Sales part of the Sales team
This office based role is accountable for the personal development, coaching and leadership of the Inside Sales Team, whilst also delivering a growth number for the sale of Licence Portal and Maintenance Exchange (MEX) products Jaama offer.
The new team will be the chosen candidates to sculpt. There is approval for at least 2 Inside Sales Executives and the Team Leader’s first challenge will be onboard these team members and ensure they are quickly contributing to the success of the business. The team will be expected to achieve a monthly qualified appointment target and revenue from direct product sales, As the leader of this team, you will be expected to manage the day to day activity of the team and collaborate on initiatives to create leads in key markets. Additionally, you will also actively sell web based solutions for driver licence checking and vehicle maintenance authorisation platform’s provided by Jaama. You will become a vital bridge between the field based Business Development Managers and the Marketing team, as both teams rely on your team to convert leads into qualified appointments. Additionally, it is critical that data in Jaama’s CRM database (MS Dynamics) is kept up to date so that we are able to comply with GDPR requirements.

The importance of this position to Jaama cannot be understated. The chosen candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of the Inside Sales Team – which is vital to the growth plans of our business.
Your working hours will be 9am – 5.30pm, however occasional out of hours work and occasional stays away will be required for exhibitions and client meetings.

Key Responsibilities and Measures
- Create & deliver strategies to secure qualified appointments in key markets (Leasing, Rental & Fleet).
- Achieve a team target for qualified appointments.
- Achieve a personal sales target selling directly over the telephone (SAAS products – Licence Portal & MEX).
- Manage the personal development of team members.
- Perform fast paced product demonstrations of web platform based products.
- Promote the Jaama brand and product suite via online, social and fleet related events & exhibitions.
- Connect with Directors and Senior Managers within target markets to promote influence.
- Quickly learn the product suite and its key features and benefits.
- Ensure a high volume of outbound activity from all team members.
- Ensure a high standard of outbound call quality from all team members.
- Understand client requirements and create needs for Jaama products.

Skills & Experience
Essential:
- A-Level equivalent qualifications, preferably in English, Business or IT related subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar outbound sales support role.
- Demonstrable success or aspiration to become an inspirational team leader.
- Strong sales and outbound calling track record.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Dynamics CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An effective management style.
- Adept at delivering persuasive presentations.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Desirable:
- First-hand experience selling similar products to fleet, leasing & rental markets .
- Graduate (preferably Business related), experience in similar industry.
- Worked within the fleet/leasing industry and familiar with fleet, leasing, rental software.
