Jaama investment in global growth pays dividends

Demand for Jaama’s industry-leading asset and driver management software is rocketing in the UK and internationally with revenues up 18% year-on-year.
 
A restructuring of the UK-based business last year to promote further expansion across Britain and for the first time into global markets, along with an intensive employee recruitment programme that has seen around 30 new jobs created has underpinned expansion.
 
Additionally, Jaama’s policy of continually investing in its multi award-winning Key2 software to ensure that it remains in the vanguard of asset management solutions available to public and private sector fleets, contract hire and leasing companies, daily rental businesses and plant management operations has further helped drive the volume of customers using the system to unprecedented levels.
 
Jason Francis, founder of Jaama which launched in 2004, who became chief executive three years ago, said: “2016 has been our most ambitious year to date. Last year we focused on putting in place the building blocks that would enable Jaama to expand to a completely new level.
 
“Re-organisation of Jaama at senior management level and the appointment of new staff across all departments – notably software development, customer support, sales and administration support – was critical to enable the company to both support existing clients and work in partnership with new ones.”

The paperless office is a vision of industry-leading asset and driver management software innovator Jaama and it has moved a step closer with the launch of a new module in the wake of the government’s decision to digitalise vehicle registration certificates.
 
As part of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency’s (DVLA) transformation of online services, a vehicle registration certificate or log book – known as a V5C – can now be viewed online by fleets that opt into its V5C on Demand service.
 
JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions, which operates a 7,000-strong fleet, is the first contract hire and leasing company user of Jaama’s cutting-edge Key2 Vehicle Management software to embrace the module and it believes, one of the first in its sector in the UK to adopt the V5C on Demand service.
 
The service is available to companies, including vehicle leasing and rental businesses as well as end-user fleets, with 50 or more vehicles that have registered on the DVLA Fleet Scheme.

Jaama Delivers Increased Customer Support

The ever-expanding customer base of industry-leading asset and driver management software specialist Jaama has triggered the recruitment of two additional support analysts.
 
Jim Springthorpe and Kieran Telford have joined Jaama’s customer support team responsible for maintaining strong communications with clients and helping fleets, vehicle leasing and rental organisations and plant and tool hire firms maximise their use of the company’s multi award-winning Key2 management system.
 
Mr Springthorpe’s career is based on delivering customer service excellence. Prior to joining Jaama he spent two years as a customer service team leader at the Construction Industry Training Board and previously five years at courier and parcel deliverer TNT progressing through the ranks to ultimately manage at team of up to 15 people. At TNT he achieved a level three qualification in management from ILM, the leading provider of leadership and management qualifications in the UK.
 
Meanwhile, Mr Telford completed a number of customer service courses and progressed his career at The Belfry Hotel and Resort delivering business functions, in shop management and ultimately moving into insurance and accident management within the NHS.
