Due to an exciting phase of phenomenal product and market growth, Jaama is eager to recruit a talented and experienced Project Manager into its well-funded, B2B fleet technology company.
The Implementation Services team is responsible for managing customer projects from contract signature through to go live, delivering configuration and best practice consultancy, training, and project management services, remotely and on-site.
The team have around 35 live projects running at any one time, and the projects can range from a few days and delivery within weeks, to 100+ days and delivery over several months, with the objective to deliver excellent outcomes for Jaama customers.
Project Manager – part of the Implementation Services
Reporting into the Implementation Services Manager, you will be a key member of the project delivery team working on package and tailored application implementations.
The role requires excellent project management skills. You will be leading the project team, and be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects, ensuring excellent outcomes and tangible benefits for Key2 customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the project scope is well defined and project deliverables are clear, unambiguous, and agreed with customer stakeholders.
- Develop realistic and achievable project plans in line with customer requirements, available customer project resource and complexity of the project.
- Ensure excellent project governance, through managing project controls the use of project management tools.
- Provide informative and accurate progress and exception reporting to a range of internal and customer stakeholders.
- Manage Jaama’s and the customer’s project tasks, mitigating project risks, actively monitor and manage actions, issues and dependencies.
- Proactively manage projects on a day-to-day basis. Including consistent professional communications to a variety of levels of business stakeholders.
- Continually engage and motivate stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to overcome and resolve challenges that may affect the outcome and quality of the project.
- Ensure project objectives are delivered before closing a project.
- Identify opportunities for improving customer experience, implementing new ways of working where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency, implementing new ways of working where appropriate.
- Travel to/from customer site, mainly UK mainland and potentially further afield, when required as remote delivery is not a valid option or against customer preference.

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Have experience in managing B2B software implementation projects.
- Proven competence with project planning using Microsoft Project.
- Excellent client facing skills and experience to ensure effective relationship are created and maintained.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels.
- The ability to have a strong impact in the project, and influence key decisions and decision makers.
- Have a full, clean driving license.
Desirable
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification.
- Competent in project planning using Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Experience within the fleet/leasing industry.
- Experience of change management, both internally and externally.
- Have experience in customer business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Have experience in delivering package software implementation projects.
- Have experience in delivering custom development software projects.
- Be familiar with fleet, leasing and rental software.
- Be familiar with accounting software.
